How do I install my rudder on a Boreal Design Kasko or Ookpik?
If your rudder is not already installed on your Boreal Design Kasko or Ookpik kayak, here are the steps to to do this:
- Take out the long bolt and nut from the rudder wing assembly
- Assemble the rudder kit to fit the rudder support by installing the long bolt
- Connect the spectra line (loop end) to the rudder wing bplt and nut.
- Run the larger black rope (uphaul / downhaul) line through the rudder blade hole and make a knot.
